Will Robinson was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2018, subsequently in 2020 and 2022 representing District 71, and serves on the following committees during the 2024 legislative session: Civil Justice (chair), Judiciary, Ways & Means, Energy, Communications & Cybersecurity Subcommittee, and Regulatory Reform & Economic Development Subcommittee.
Will is a partner of the Blalock Walters law firm where he focuses on real estate law and is board certified by the Florida Bar in Real Estate Law. He is member of the Manatee County Republican Party Executive Committee, Twelfth Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission and the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Board of Governors and a past member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (former Chair of Manatee Young Professionals and the Legislative Affairs Committees).
ABOUT WILL
Robinson was the past chair of both Meals on Wheels Plus of Manatee and the Bradenton Downtown Development Authority. He was also a graduate of Leadership Florida Class XXIX and the past president of the Manatee Young Republicans.
He attended Manatee High School where he served as student body class president. Robinson is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. He is a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Robinson has deep family roots in Southwest Florida. He and his father were both born and raised in Bradenton. Robinson’s grandfather and uncle founded Robby’s Sporting Goods. The family retail business was purchased by Woolworth’s in 1988 and eventually merged with Champs Sports.
The Robinson family donated much of the land now known as the public park, Robinson Preserve, located in Bradenton.
Robinson was honored in 2018 by Leadership Manatee with the Kent C. Schultz Distinguished Leadership Award, in 2014 by the Business Observer “40 under 40” and 2015 “People to Watch” by Biz(941). In his spare time, Robinson is an avid runner. He has completed 2 Boston Marathons and 2 Ironman races.
